Quite a few bloggers have opened up their blogs to make room for charities close to their hearts to have a voice and reach a wider audience. Charities in return have discovered that the word of mouth approach that a blogger offers is an excellent means to spread their message far and wide.
Jen Howze, co-founder of BritMums and Michelle Pannell author of Mummy from the Heart have both attended a press trip with ONE, Michelle also went with Operation Christmas Child to Belarus to deliver the shoe box gifts made in the UK to the children.
Today we talked about how to prepare yourself for such a trip, tips on research, what to pack and plenty more.
Michelle will be participating in a session at BritMums Live on Saturday at 14.50 for anyone wanting to know more
