This September, Women’s Wellness Week features 5 days of awareness and fundraising events all about encouraging women to make their mental and physical health a priority. There’s loads to talk about and share with your followers, plus the opportunity to sign up to get a FREE #We11nessHour massage at a nearby Spabreaks.com spa (with a suggested donation in aid of a good cause)!
Women’s Wellness Week, which starts on 18 September 2017, is sponsored by Spabreaks.com, Europe’s leading spa booking agency, who are working in partnership with the charity Willow. Willow provides special day experiences for seriously ill young adults. Women have so many responsibilities – work, family, home, social life – that often paying attention to their own physical and mental wellbeing takes a back seat.
Women’s Wellness Week encourages women to prioritise their health. Throughout the week, Spabreaks.com will be highlighting issues that affect women as well as fundraising for Willow.
FREE massages across the UK
As part of the initiative, on Tuesday September 19 at 11am women across UK are invited to participate in #We11nessHour – the world’s largest ever massage event. Hundreds of women will be invited to take time out to enjoy a massage at a Spabreaks.com venue across the UK and throughout the world at 11am on Tuesday 19 September 2017.
The massages will be free of charge, but each spa will be asking for a minimum donation of £20 per massage, which will be given in full to Willow. To register for one of the massages, visit www.spabreaks.com/womens-wellness. Sign up by 18 August 2017. Women will be selected at random to attend a massage.
Spabreaks.com will also be running live Q&A sessions on its Facebook and Twitter pages and look out for info on our Twitter chat on Monday 18 September at 13:00, where we are talking about how you take time for yourself and also giving away prizes!
Go to the Spabreaks form now to put yourself forward for one of the hundreds of massages on Tuesday 19 September at 11am! (Hurry – the deadline for signing up is 18 August.) And spread the word about this important topic — women prioritising their own wellbeing – by sharing this post on social media using the hashtag #We11nessHour.
