2-minute Survey: What do you think about “Free from” food?

Over the last couple of years there has been an explosion of “free from” groceries and drinks, with many big supermarkets stocking an increasing variety of products. From being nearly non-existent 10 years ago, “free from” is now considered to be one of the fastest growing markets in the UK, boasting sales of £288 million in 2012.

The main reason people buy free from food, and the reason the industry exists (however fashionable it may have become, or which other reasons buy free free from foods) is due to food allergies. "Questionnaires" like this trivialise an important issue. "Medical necessity" should be top of your list....
