Have a favourite summer recipe? Add it to our #MorrisonsMum eBook challenge!

As much as we love spending quality time with the family during the summer months, the extra meals needed while the kids are off school, not to mention the tricky business of keeping them entertained, can make sticking to the family budget a bit of chore.

Morrisons is on hand to help and have recently lowered the prices of over a thousand everyday essentials, in store and online – helping mums and dads up and down the country. From favourites such as 100% British beef burgers, sausages and apples, to treats like Jammie Dodgers and crisps, there’s something for everyone even the fussiest of little eaters!

To help inspire parents in the kitchen this summer, Morrisons is inviting you to submit one of your family’s favourite recipes. Your chosen recipe needs to fit into one of the following categories:

• Picnic Favourites
• Sweet Treats
• Delicious Barbecue Basics
• Light Summer Family Meals

Every recipe submitted must include 2 of Morrisons new everyday low price products – you can find out what these are by checking out Morrisons new price checker tool.

We’ll pick 24 winning recipes to be included in the Morrisons recipe e-book. If your recipe is chosen, in addition to being featured in the official recipe book, we’ll also send you a £50 Morrisons voucher!

How to take part in the #MorrisonsMums/Dads Love Summer eBook Linky Challenge:

1. On your blog, post your own recipe sharing your best summer meal idea. Make sure you include two items from the Morrisons price checker tool. Incorporate pictures and/or video if you can.
2. To be eligible for the prize you must include the URL to the price checker tool and post before midnight on 2 July 2014 (no follow links are fine).
3. Include text stating: “This post is an entry for the #MorrisonsMum (or #MorrisonsDad) Summer Recipe eBook Challenge sponsored by Morrisons, which has recently cut prices on over a thousand every day products. Find out more here price checker tool”.
4. Tell us which category you are entering for: Picnic Favourites, Sweet Treats, Delicious Barbecue Basics or Light Summer Family Meals
5. Add your URL to the Linky below. If your recipe is chosen to be included in the eBook, we’ll send you a £50 Morrisons voucher.
6. Tweet your link via Twitter. Be sure to include the campaign hashtag #MorrisonsMum or #MorrisonsDad. You can also share it via G+ and Facebook.
7. You can use a post you already have, just make sure you follow all other directions.
