Southern England
Charliemoos continued a Christmas tradition and headed to Santa’s Grotto at Wyevale Garden Centre in Andover whilst TinBox Traveller headed to see the Wind in the Willows at Killerton in Devon and further North, The Parenting Trials enjoyed a festive day out at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm.
Casa Costello was a little more energetic and took part in a Santa Dash in Bristol whilst PinkOddy enjoyed a more relaxed exploration of the Christmas Market at Gloucester Quays. Scrapbook Blog and I both enjoyed Christmas at Marwell.
Over in Brighton, Juggling on Rollerskates enjoyed a special Santa Flight about the British Airways i360 which offered not only fabulous views over East Sussex, but also the chance to meet Santa and his Elves 162m in the air.
London
My Travel Monkey shared her top things to do in London over Christmas, and the best Ice Skating rinks in the capital whilst Little Hearts Big Love tried her hand at ice skating in Windsor. Plutomium Sox got to enjoy Hogwarts in the Snow.
Just outside London, near Ascot is Lapland UK which offers a magical day out for all the family. Both Mrs Shilts and I enjoyed our days out there and both agree it is a very special day out!
Midlands
Otis and Us headed to the National Forest for a North Pole Adventure, Fashion Mommy fell in love with Santa’s Grotto at House of Fraser and enjoyed a day out at the Botanical Gardens, Here Come the Girls attended the Magical Lantern Festival, whilst My Mummy’s World, Mrs Shilts and Plutonium Sox enjoyed a day out at Drayton Manor’s Magical Christmas.
Slightly further south, Over 40 Mum to One enjoyed a illuminated trail at Blenheim Palace whilst Plutonium Sox had fun at Warwick Castle, Mommamack enjoyed storytime with Santa and Here Come the Girls had a trip to Hatton’s Enchanted Christmas Kingdom.
Northern England
HodgePodge Days enjoyed the delights of the National Trust at the launch of Christmas at Dunham Massey and the Twelve Days of Christmas at Tatton Park, Babyfoote took part in Santa’s Christmas Cracker at Whitehouse Farm centre, whilst Make do and push headed for the NYMR to meet Santa on a very special train ride and Yorkshire Wonders explored Angels on High at Castle Howard and have 5 fabulous reasons to visit Lotherton Hall.
My Boys Club has been investigating Enchanted Parks 2017 – the Inventors Ball in Gateshead and North East Family Fun had fun during a festive day out in Newcastle, Nomipalomy had a day out with the kids using the Tyne and Wear Metro and we have another shout out for Wyevale Garden Centre, where Newcastle Family Life enjoyed an afternoon tea with Santa.
Wales
Over the border in Wales, Kerry Louise Norris took her girls to Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland and Cardiff Mummy Says enjoyed some ice skating and the Christmas Kingdom at Celtic Manor and the 12 Days of Christmas at Dyffrn Gardens and last but not least, Baby Holiday got to meet the real Father Christmas at Hamley’s.
