Environment Round-up: Zero Waste Week

Zero Waste Week raises awareness about reducing the waste that goes to landfill and started on 5th September. All you need to do is visit the Zero Waste Week website and make a pledge, just like Zoe at Eco Thrifty Living who has pledged to create a use it up meal plan. And if you’re looking for ideas for your pledge read Jane at Maflingo’s post 10 tips to reduce food waste & save money.

In fact, many of you have been thinking about waste during the last month. The posts cover a number of different perspectives so make an interesting read:

• Becky at Pink’s Charming describes How to make homemade natural laundry detergent which reduces waste as well as chemicals because she stores the detergent in a reused bottle.
