Education Round-up: It’s SATs time of year again

education round-upI sit here writing this month’s BritMums Education Round-up racked with nerves as right at moment my baby (ok, yes she is 7 but will always be my baby) is sitting in her school hall on the first day of her end of KS1 SATs testing week.

A lot of has been said about testing this year, SATs have been a hot topic and I was inundated with great blog posts to feature in this month’s round up.

While I have kept away from sharing my views over on Project: Wanderlust (I have been far more vocal about the landmark court ruling over term time holiday fines) I did work with Penny Alexander on a great piece explaining the May 3rd Strikes for the BritMums Blog.

It’s be great to see so many bloggers getting incredibly passionate about a subject – and I have to say that the quality of posts to chose from this month was fantastic. It’s bee a pleasure to put this months BritMums Education Round-up together.
