“Oh the weather outside is frightful…”
Forgive me. I’ve sung a song associated with that most wonderful Christmas time of the year and we’re still hanging around the entrance to November. But it is frightful, the weather that is. It’s roiking it down outside and Spencer’s like me are not built for such weather. I’d quite happily be sitting on a warm sunny beach right now, in my shorts, wondering whether it’s acceptable to have a Mojito before 11am.
So. I’m gonna get myself a cuppa, and some biscuits, and hunker down in my bedding with some dads.
I don’t mean it QUITE like that. I mean dad blogs, OF COURSE, but I have a habit of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Last winter when it was really cold I was in the Post Office and the person behind the counter said ‘Cold today eh?’ I responded with ‘Yes. It’s the sort of day what makes you want to go home and masturbate until Spring.’
I meant hibernate of course.
And you don’t wanna KNOW what I once called ‘flip flops’ by mistake. In a shop. With my mouth.
So, without any further malapropisms or examples of me putting my size 10’s in my mouth, here are this months Famous Five. Take a look as all are, without a doubt, the blogs that I look up to, written by men who I’d like to be when I grow up.
Thanks for reading my drivel, now take a look at the good stuff.

About Spencer
@ADadCalledSpen - I'm not a writer or a journalist, just proud to be a dad to two amazing children. I blog at Dad and Proud and talk about parenting, divorce, mental health and Life. Frequently at the same time. My favourite colour is yellow and I find moths a bit creepy.
