Lilla A Design – I have been a massive fan of Lilla A for a long long time. She takes the ordinary and makes it extraordinary. I particularly love her regular challenges – which she then brings together in a beautiful design – for example the Treasure Boat Exhibition. Childhood craft at its best. Inspirational. Beautiful.

A beautiful creative and crafty blog for children by educator and mother, Rachelle. You will find all sorts of beautifully presented ideas, activities and crafts for kids, as well as of tips and suggestions for raising creative kids. A great resource for any crafty mama.

Slugs on The Refrigerator

A wonderful blog about all sorts of things – but a heavy bias towards crochet (Kat has many many free pattterns to share with you, as well as an etsy shop Kat Goldin Designs) and photography – but with a good mix of every day life too. A great blog to sit down, with a cup of tea and explore and discover! Lucky me even had Kat Guest Post over at Red Ted Art, with her adorable (free) Ladybird Hat Pattern. Yay.

*cough* and a “special* mention to, ahem, myself – Red Ted Art – as I have just launched “Kids Get Arty” and I really really want to share this with you. Kids Get Arty is all about “The Great Artists” and exploring “real” art with your children. As this can be quite intimidating for some (where do you start? What do you talk about? What if I don’t know something?) etc, I have created a round up over 30 Kids’ Art Projects to get you going. You will see that they are all easy, low tech and not in the least intimidating! Next I will share some arty picture books with you and finally there will be a regular, monthly Arty link up party! How cool is that? Would love to see you there and hear all about which artist you love and admire!

Bella and Will

Finally… as Britmums is all about supporting the blogging community, I would love to give Catherine from Bella and Will a shout out! Pretty much launched at the beginning of the year, Bella and Will is a new all rounder blog, with a bit of craft now and again. I first connected with Catherine on Twitter and then we she joined in with the weekly Kids Get Crafty linky and her fabulous homemade playdough. Go look and give a newbie a nice warm welcome!
