Craft Round-up: Getting ready for Spring

Well, it is that time again… the time to GET CRAFTY. Really, once a month, isn’t enough, is it? Anyway, I digress. January and February to date have been ALL ABOUT Winter Crafts and Valentine’s and finally we are seeing a move towards Spring. Hooray. Spring to me is all about Flowers, Rainbows, St Patrick’s Day and Garden Crafts. Maybe some “baby animals” thrown in for good measure too. Love these egg carton Daffodils from Me and My Shadow. Such a lovely “classic” childhood craft and a wonderful way to welcome Spring!

 

 

 

 

The next best thing to Spring, is actually getting READY for Spring. Why not make some Seed Bombs with the kids this half term. They can then be thrown in disused areas… waiting for a splash of colour to sprout later in the year.

 

 

 

Or how about making your own magnifying glass? Perfect for getting ready to explore the garden. What bugs and insects can you find with it? Science Sparks gets crafty!
