We’ve known it for some time: Mums are all over Instagram, posting photos of family life, travel, crafts, gorgeous lifestyles and everyday joys. Now the news is out. The Telegraph this week has written about #SnapHappyBritMums and the phenomenon of photo-sharing among mothers.
“The result is a handful of super-stylish mothers with Instagram followers in their tens and hundreds of thousands, and millions of parents connecting through the small, everyday miracles of back-to-school new shoes, baking triumphs and the first shiny conker of the season,”writes Alice Vincent.
There are of course some huge accounts and massive memes. The BritMums #SnapHappyBritMums, going since January 2012, emphasizes our community of British and British-based mums and dads.
