Good Reads

Spotlight time again! Here at BritMums HQ we just love to point you in the direction of great writing, interesting bloggers and the latest and greatest news in the blogosphere. It's hard work here at BritMums HQ you know? The BritMums membership is up to 3100+ now with more members joining every day. Our network has so many features and brilliant ways of highlighting content that you're never going to be short of something to see, do, sign up for or read. What a service! Feel free to send cake…we get hungry at BritMums HQ!

This week the spotlight is being turned on the Top Ten in the Klout Index. What is Klout? Well, very simply, it's the amount of influence and Twitter "presence" you have. Spend a lot of time on Twitter? Re-tweeting and being re-tweeted, interacting with various followers, building up a following and having others click on your links is what it's all about. Now, yes, Klout is ANOTHER index. Another way of ranking bloggers. You can opt in or not do it at all! It's no big deal but if you're interested in knowing your "influence", Klout is one way of learning.

You can find the Klout Index on the main page of the BritMums network and by clicking on the Blog Buzz tab on the menu bar under the logo, you can then click on Klout Index to see where you fit in if you've added your Twitter username to the Klout Index field in your profile details. The world does not begin and end on where you rank in the Klout Index but if you're interested in social media, then give it a whirl.

Phew! We're exhausted after that list! Time for a cuppa and some cake we think. Enjoy the reading rota and tune in next week for more Good Reads courtesy of BritMums members.
