BritMums Good Reads

Picture of bookThere are so many brilliant bloggers who are BritMums members that finding the time to read all of their posts can prove challenging. There are some amazing linkys each week and various memes to help you in your quest and of course, there’s the prolific @MammasaurusBlog who keeps creating more showcase blogs for every niche in the Blogging Community!

Here, at BritMums HQ, we’re going to highlight ten posts that you really need to sink your teeth into. They’re GORGEOUS and SPECIAL and NOT TO BE MISSED! Are you ready? Do you have a beverage? A biscuit? A comfy seat? Here we go…

  • Tara Cain never ceases to inspire each week with her Gallery but we were simply blown away by this entry from Feisty Tapas for the Faces Gallery. Breath-taking and very brave indeed.
  • Thanks to a shockingly blunt reader comment, All Sweetness and Life has come up with some RULES  which are rather hilarious (and spot on).
  • The Madhouse Family Reviews generally provides us with everything we need to know about the latest, greatest products but Cheryl provides us with an interesting and important post about Meeting an Exonerated Death-Row Prisoner. Fascinating post and HOT TOPIC for sure!
  • Want a bit of dairy-free, Autumnal comfort food? Muddling Along Mummy is becoming quite the expert and shares her Spicy Pumpkin Chowder recipe with us! Mmm, now where did I put my pumpkin??
  • The Music Therapy meme is making it’s way around the blogosphere and Melksham Mum has taken a very good stab at it with some songs that I truly relate to. Sing along with us…
  • Our favourite newly-expat BritMums member, Maria from Mummy’s Busy World, has experienced the joy of Heathrow Airport’s Mobile Creche prior to her family’s journey back to America. This is TRULY a genius idea…the only problem we have is that its temporary! Have a peek!
  • We’re loving Jenny at Mummy Mishaps’ Dream a Little Dream post. Inspired by the BritMums Blogging Prompt (Hopes and Dreams) we’re loving learning more about Jenny’s dreams but are even more touched by her hopes and dreams for her boys.
  • Mummy Matters, Sabina, has published a SPOT ON post about Selling Myself Short, which is how a lot of bloggers feel about their relationships with PR’s. Do you have a similar experience? It’s time to take a stand, methinks!
  • We adore Rosie Scribble’s writing and simply love her daughter’s latest declaration in The One Where She Announces a Change of Gender. Far less fuss for Rosie and IJ in the long run!
  • And finally, we learned of Tara Cain’s amazing Indonesian adventure this week, in support of the Pampers-UNICEF campaign to eliminate Maternal and Newborn Tetanus. Teaching Compassion to my Children shares part of the story about WHY this campaign is so very vital and important.

Amazing bloggers, amazing posts…enjoy your reading material for this week!
