BritMums Craft Round-up: Cut & paste and so much more

craft round-upWell.. it is that time of the month again to bring together and share the latest on crafty blogs! Let’s delve straight in this month.

First up The Artful Parent – I have long admired Jean from The Artful Parent. She really puts “art” into crafts and creates beautiful things with her children. I particularly like her Arts & Crafts resources page – where you will find lots of links to get you started – from painting to print making to starting children’s artgroups.x

Next up, would have to be Inner Child Fun. Valerie’s blog is a blog I have long enjoyed reading (when I get time to stop and browse all those fantastic blogs out there). You may have come across her as “Frugal Family Fun”, but she recently changed her name to Inner Child Fun. Valerie is passionate about upcycling and particularly brilliant at making cardboard boxes into wonderful new and amazing things.

Hands On As We Grow is one of those blogs – that if you have boys or your children you will not want to leave again. Jammed packed with activities and ideas and crafts you will come out the other end INSPIRED, I am sure. Jamie has a down to earth pragmatic approach making her crafts and activities accessible even to those of us who say “but I can’t do crafts”.

Paintcutpaste.com another long standing favourite site of mine – paintcutpaste.com will inspire you to get arty – drawing, painting or crafting. I love the “waldorf-ness” of mainly crafts – be it their fairy herb gardens to felt flowers.

Finally, The Magic Onion.. for being.. well simply MAGIC. I dare you to go and explore this wonderful site.

I hope you have enjoyed this whistle stop tour of the crafty world. I do hope to see you over at Red Ted Art again sometime soon.. or maybe you would like to take a sneaky peak at my new site Life At The Zoo… some recipes, some crafts and lots and lots of photos!

Now it is your chance… come and share with us your latest crafts and link up!

I also enjoy reading blogs and articles in paintcutpaste. It gave me ideas for my crafting and painting hobbies.
