Blog to Book: BritMums bloggers at Henley Literary Festival

We’re pleased to announce that two of our favourite bloggers, Maggy Woodley and Helen McGinn, will be speaking at the Henley Literary Festival this Autumn.

From Blog to Book: Tuesday October 1st, 11.30am, Bix Manor

With the internet offering writers a new route into print, an increasing number of bloggers are being signed up by major publishers – two of whom come to the beautiful setting of Bix Manor. The Knackered Mother’s Wine Club author Helen McGinn is a former supermarket wine buyer whose unpretentious guide that began with a blog has led to a column in the Daily Mail. And craft expert Maggy Woodley has scored a huge success with Red Ted Art, which promises cute and easy craft for kids. They join the BBC’s Sophie Van Brugen to discuss blogging and books.
