BritMums Blogger of the Week- The Blog Up North

This week, for the BritMums Blogger of the Week I thought it was high time we honoured a rather fabulous blogger who has slogged long and hard in the parent blogosphere. HE is known on Twitter as Him Up North (@himupnorth) and has managed to charm the socks off of most of the “mummy” bloggers while maintaining the perfect balance of ascerbic wit and beautiful writing. I give you Garry from The Blog Up North.

Just last week, Garry took the Twitterverse and Blogosphere by storm by starting #crowdsourcedsundays. We all learned what each other are reading now and this weekend, well, let’s just say there are going to be a lot of stealthy bloggers lurking in the supermarket!

I really loved Garry’s post, “Listen to your blogorhythms” as well this week. Such sense and sensibility in a blog post and great advice to bloggers of all ability and experience. I do have to say that I wasn’t quite as fond of the Tripe post, however. The sign at the beginning of the post was hilarious but I could have done without the photo of the subject. Bleurgh, HUN. But if you REALLY want to get to know The Blog Up North, then simply peruse his Firsts. Fabulous information there!
