BritMums Blogger of the Week- The 1970’s Diet

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the blogger from her appointed blogging…or something like that! As I type this post, giant snowflakes are falling outside which makes me giddy like a schoolgirl again. SNOW! I’m a gal from the midwest of the United States…I know about snow. Snow is fun, it means no school most of the time, it means snowmen and hot chocolate and snowball fights. Snow rules! But I digress, even better than snow is this week’s BritMums Blogger of the Week! I give you Natasha from The 1970’s Diet.

I stumbled upon The 1970’s Diet thanks to Twitter and BritMums. One day, in my social media maven managing of the BritMums Twitter account I asked for people to tweet me their latest post and Natasha popped on with a link to “I Will Bring You Down! I Will Bring You Down to China Town” which had me hooked. I felt that I had found a kindred spirit! Someone else who could rant away happily. I was a little bit jealous, to tell you the truth. There are a lot of times I would love to rant the way Natasha can. You go girl!

I also really loved “French Kids Eat Pate” which was highly topical with the whole hullabaloo about how French children are far better behaved than English or American children. And I just about hugged my laptop screen when I read “Hankerings for a Teasmaid” because I too covet a Teasmaid AND a KitchenAid mixer…what greater pleasure could there be in life if you have both of these prize items?? Sigh, Hi-5 Sister!

Natasha is great at sending BritMums a link to her latest fab post and we love that! We want to know when you are proud of a post and we’re happy to promote it to the Twitter massive. I love her theory behind her blog as well…the 1970’s diet. Really, Natasha is onto something. Dragon’s Den…there you go!

So run, don’t walk, to The 1970’s Diet. It’s a wonderful, ranty, highly spot on blog written by a witty, slightly cranky, highly creative woman. Parfait! Now, I wonder how I can get one of those Teasmaid’s or KitchenAid mixers…

Happy Blogging (and snowball fighting)!

Well loads for me about 60/70 reads I will certainly have to blow my own trumpet later and blog about this - in fact scrap all that I love you Karin I love you I do!!
