Another week brings us that much closer to darker nights, colder temperatures and half-term (What? I can dream, can’t I?). We’re seeing some brilliant things happening on the BritMums network these days which makes us very happy indeed. Newbies are coming out of the woodwork, bloggers are joining groups, starting discussions and finding new blogs to read and become involved with. Everything we’ve hoped for really…sigh!
One of the best parts of delving into the BritMums network is the wealth of talented writers who are joining our fair community. Many of them are new to blogging but are such lovely writers that we’re a bit taken aback. And it’s not all about nappies and the school run, you know. Our BritMums are blogging about EVERYTHING! Genius!
One such blogger is our BritMums Blogger of the Week. This blogger has started blogging only JUST this month! She’s immersed herself in the BritMums community and on Twitter and is off to a flying start in our humble opinion. We present to you…Polly from Caught Writing!
Polly has shared a great post about How I got my Groove where she’s got a fabulous list going for how motivating herself. We’re particularly keen on number 6: I am so enthusiastic about my blog that I am going to enrol on a writing course to learn how to write properly and thereby maybe make some money from writing in the future. Such initiative…very admirable Polly!
The BritMums Blogging Prompt of the Week inspired Polly to write “I cannot live without…” which almost sent us out to the nearest coffee house for a quick brew. We are really loving Polly’s “Unwanted Parenting Advice” post however. Haven’t we all felt frustrated with the unneccessary and pointless advice we’ve all been offered, particularly from friends and family?
So welcome Polly at Caught Writing into your reading rota and give her some comments to spur her on. You can also follow Polly on Twitter: @PollyBurns2. Another newbie blogger to the BritMums community…who will be next to trip our trigger??
Happy Blogging!
