BritMums Blogger of the Week

Happy Friday to one and all! Kate, aka WitWitWoo, here again. Popping up all over the place, aren’t I?! Bit like that itchy rash you just can’t get rid of.

Moving on ….

My first choice for Blogger of the Week is someone very well known round these parts. Someone … ever-so heavy with child at the moment. Someone … who couldn’t be nominated because, well, she was the one always doing the nominating. Currently found nesting/painting/blogging in a corner of the internet somewhere, my first Blogger of the Week prize goes to, (there is no prize – sorry,) … the wonderful Karin Joyce from CafeBebe.

I’ve only really got to know Karin well over the past couple of months but I’ve been really inspired by her energy, her commitment to BritMums, her family and her blog – and all whilst looking after Little Miss. That woman puts me to shame and bakes – a lot!

She’s the creator of the blog hop, Flashback Friday, where people get the opportunity to reminisce – something I’m guilty of doing the older I get. One particularly poignant post was on the subject of Remembrance where she wrote about her Granddad, which you can read here.

Definitely not too posh to push, Karin has often spoke about her wish to choose an elective C-section and as I sit here crossing my legs, wincing, I can only be impressed by someone so resolute in her belief and in her post, Live and Let Live, Karin makes a point I wholeheartedly agree with. In the post-Blagger vs. Blogger debate, it doesn’t matter what type of blogger you are – we’re all part of a large community and there’s room for everyone. Well said.

So, best of luck Karin for your impending arrival and don’t worry about a thing … it’s all in safe hands. Sort of.
