BritMums Blog Prompts: Highlights & About Me

Happy New Year! Yes, we’ve already had more than a week of 2012 but this is our first BritMums Blog Prompt of 2012 so we’re celebrating! The team at BritMums HQ hopes that you and your family had a most splendid Christmas and New Year’s and are ready and raring to go for 2012. Have you set a resolution? Focusing on goals and baby steps? Or are you starting an exciting new adventure this year? BritMums is here to encourage and applaud you along the way!

If you haven’t taken part in our BritMums Blog Prompts before, here’s how it works: we set a personal and blogging prompt to simply give you some inspiration. Take that prompt and run with it. Make it your own or change it entirely. It’s simply a way to trigger some ideas for writing. When you’ve come up with your work of brilliance, publish it on your blog and add the link to the Linky below to share with others. We also hope that you’ll be able to visit some of the other blogs to see what they’ve come up with as well. Commenting on other blogs will take you far, after all. Personal Prompt: What was your personal highlight from this past Christmas and New Year’s season? Did you receive a fantabulous present that you never guessed? Did your child achieve a milestone during the festive season? Were you filled with the spirit and just want to shout about it? What was brilliant about Christmas and/or New Year’s Eve? Blogging Prompt: Last week, one of our favourite Expat bloggers, Michelle from The American Resident, started reaching out to blogger-kind in an effort to help us improve our ABOUT pages. We’d like to direct you to Michelle’s two posts: About Pages and Why They’re a Good Idea and 10 Tips to Creating an About Page. Here’s your chance to revise and promote your About page which, according to Michelle, will be your most viewed page!
