So here I am, posting on the BMB blog for the first time. Nervous? Me? Of course not…(much).
For those who don’t know how this works, each week we highlight a member of the British Mummy Blogger network who is worthy of note. This person could be completely new to blogging, or have been typing away for ages. They could be well-known, a long-standing member of the BMB, or a complete newbie. The only criteria is that their blog holds our attention, by great writing, amazing content, or both.
Let’s get to it, then…
There’s something about imposing a little order on the administrative crap in our lives, isn’t there? Especially in the all-pervading back-to-school atmosphere right now. This is may be why I’ve been drawn to this British Mummy Blogger of the Week, The Imperfectionist, who’s tag line is ‘ticking one item off the to-do-list… and adding four more on the bottom’. She writes that she is:
‘Organising a family and realising that I’m not Mary Poppins, tragically’
I loved her recent post on Entertaining The Imperfect Way, and foresee many happy hours using the Weird Converter on those too-long dark and snowy evenings here in Moscow once winter hits (which will be sometime around the end of September, probably…).
