Blogger of the week: Shout-out to amazing bloggers

Blogger of the week: Shout-out to amazing bloggers

Friday! We’ve reached the end of another rainy, pooey, miserable week in the UK. We’re one week closer to the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremonies and we’re only hours away from the official start of the Summer Holidays (of course Scotland, you’re already there aren’t you?). Here’s hoping that the rain of the last 10 weeks is on its way out in light of all of these major goings-on in the next few days! It’s only fair to finally have some sunshine right?

Every Friday I get the chance to shine the spotlight on one amazing blogger. It’s a wonderful chance to see what one blogger has been doing and give them a bit of a pat on the back. But I always feel a bit bad about only picking ONE Blogger of the Week. There are so many talented, lovely and generous bloggers in our community that I thought it was time for a big SHOUT OUT to a handful of bloggers who are making waves and getting people to notice! Ready? Here we go:

Red Ted Art

The amazingly talented Maggy of Red Ted Art fame has had photo shoots this week for her upcoming Kids Craft book! How exciting and thrilling is that?! If you’re looking for Summer Holiday inspiration, you cannot go wrong with Maggy’s site! Run on over now!

Blogging for Charity

Leading the charge for charities is Kate Davis-Holmes, BritMums Charity Champion. This week BritMums begins a Charity Matching Service for bloggers while Ruth at Dorkymum has been promoting counting pennies for Piggy Bank Kids. There’s also the wunderkind known as Mammasaurus who has added Blog4Charity to her cavalcade of blogs. Be sure to stop by. So many wonderful opportunities to blog for good It’s fabulous to see!

Our Blog Editor!

Marianne has been a member of BritMums since the get go, and is doing a fabulous job as the BritMums Blog editor. Mari blogs over at Mari’s World, “The Great British Mummy Blog” where she writes about live with twins, with a big dash of food thrown in. If you haven’t seen her blog, go check it out. THANK YOU Marianne.

While I’m not setting ONE crown atop the head of a new blogger, I did still want to draw attention to people who are making a difference and making a name for themselves! Feel free to suggest other great bloggers to SHOUT OUT to in the comments below. We’d love to know who makes you sit up and take notice!

Have a blissful weekend and hopefully that forecast of decent weather will actually happen. Happy Blogging!
