Hello all. A slightly windswept WitWitWoo here but fear not, I should emerge from under my 7ft bouffant hair at some point tomorrow.
In the meantime, I’ve been pondering on whom to nominate for Blogger of the Week. I wanted to choose someone special, someone who deserved a special mention. Someone who has been an inspiration to many of us.
My choice for this week is someone who is recognised by many as Queen of Bloggers. She is the director of her own company, an editor, a journalist, author and trainer, (totally ripped that from her Twitter bio – but I’m assured it’s all true!) She’s heavily involved with the successful websites Ready for Ten and Have A Lovely Time and also blogs at You’ve Got Your Hands Full.
She also happened to marry the love of her life, Neil, last week.
My Blogger of the Week goes to…the very wonderful Linda Jones.
For those of you not familiar with Linda’s story, you can read about how she met Neil fifteen years ago in ‘Love at first sight … or was it sound?’ A truly moving story chronicling their first meeting, how she finally made her move (liking her style!) and how they eventually became an item.
Since then, Neil and Linda have had to deal with Neil’s health issues and they both took the decision to get married after such a long time (and beautiful twin daughters) together.
Her story has moved many people to tears. Her courage continually amazes me and I can only imagine how much pressure they’re under right now. Yet she never fails to thank everyone for their good wishes, remains as upbeat and positive as she possibly can and her love for Neil shines throughout.
So, heartfelt congratulations to Linda from all of us at BritMums. You look beautiful on your wedding day – being in love suits you!

About Kate Sutton
Kate Sutton is the owner of the wonderfully eclectic lifestyle blog, WitWitWoo. A mother to two boys, she has a knack for making the most banal things much more interesting than they really are. Normally found talking about cake, sausages and Riverdance on Twitter (@iamwitwitwoo) her considerably sized, Titian hair can be seen from satellite. Kate loves to dance, sing (very) badly and laugh a lot. Her fiercely competitive streak has now earnt her the title of world record breaker. She has added this to her existing list of accolades, which include Apprentice interviewee, Smirnoff model and ex-majorette.

Hi Kate and the Britmums posse, thank you very much for your very kind words. I opted out of blogging some months ago and my updates since have been sporadic to say the least. I'm really not the queen of anything, nor could I ever consider myself courageous or inspirational. I'm just getting on with things the best I can and some days that's not very well at all. Neil on the other hand is AMAZING. Just 2 months ago we were warned his time with us could be so short we may need to marry sharpish over a hospital bed or in a hospice. He wasn't allowed to move at all and lost all mobility, and was only allowed to sit up with a very cumbersome back brace. A wonderful team of physios worked with him and said they were astounded by his determination. To see him walk unaided without any brace down the aisle was so very, very special. I am very tempted to blog about our wedding but can't see me blogging more about what's happening, perhaps I may change my mind as more hope dawns. But at the moment we are waiting for some latest results, which could floor us further and don't know where we go from here. Thank you again, our wedding really was a magical day and it was lovely that Tara, whom I have known 20 years and with whom I was reunited through britmums was able to be there. Kim is also a very special lady. Good day. Xxxx _

What a well deserved blogger of the week. I have the pleasure of working with Linda Jones and even though I haven't known her for a particularly long time, consider her to be one of my bestest friends. She is like you say an inspiration to us all and we love her dearly.
She knows that our love and best wishes are with her and her family, and she did look particularly stunning on their wedding day, it was a pleasure to celebrate this very special day with Linda and her family.
