Blogger of the Week: Doing it all for Aleyna and ten other must reads

Karin from Cafe Bebe is back this week with another instalment of Blogger of the Week plus 10 other great finds. Tune in, log on, leave comments.

In my new duty as resident  of the Blogger of the Week title, I have had the pleasure of reading quite a few new blogs. Well, new to me! I have to admit that my blog reading has suffered in the last few months. Trying to keep up with my own blog and attempting to be a good wife and mother leaves me precious little time to discover new blogs.

There are so many brilliant bloggers out there that leave me wondering how they do it. My life is easy-peasy in comparison. This week’s Blogger of the Week has the BMB Community taking notice and I can’t let another week go by without singing this Blogger’s praises.

She began her blog in September of this year and describes her blog as “The rather haphazard goings on whilst bringing up my very special, special needs little girl. Occasionally it can rip you apart but 90% of the time we just laugh and laugh.” This blogger has recently been given the supreme pleasure of being compared to Velma on Scooby Doo by her adorable daughter, Aleyna. She doesn’t seem overly pleased about the comparison, I might add. I can relate to this!

I have learned an important geographical bit of trivia thanks to this blogger: England has a House of Marbles and it’s located in Devon! Who knew? Thanks to Aleyna’s passion for marbles, I now know where to go should Little Miss develop a fascination with marbles. I can really appreciate Aleyna’s passion for the patterns in marbles…aren’t they “marbelous”?

Pix_4_reasonably_small Perhaps one of my favourite posts was this blogger’s tale of A Milestone for Aleyna. This post brought a tear to my eye and made me want to cheer for Aleyna. I have learned a very interesting thing about this blogger, however, and I’m really hoping that she comes to Cybermummy so I can see her amazing EAR trick! I give you this week’s Blogger of the Week, Doing it all for Aleyna. Please take a moment to visit this blog which is amazingly inspiring.

In addition to Doing it all for Aleyna, I’m highlighting some fab bloggers who I had the pleasure of meeting last week. Run on over to their blogs and have a read:

Now, there’s less than two weeks until Christmas. Who’s going to buy all of my presents, wrap them and feed me gluten-free Christmas snacks?? Happy holidays everyone!

I am so totally overwhelmed by this and I have only recently learnt that if you receive a compliment, rather than brushing it off, you should say "thank you". So a very astonished, but proud THANK YOU from me and yes I will absolutely be at CyberMummy to proudly show off my (rather grotesque) ear party trick. Lots of love and thanks to everyone xxxxxx PS thanks for using the v.v. old photo and not the one post pies :)
