After the gloriousness of #passiton the past two weeks with the adventuring Christine and New Number ONE blogger Maggy, we’re bumping back to earth to feature more brilliant BritMums bloggers who happen to have a way with words.
For this week’s Blogger of the Week, we’re looking to the North to a blogger who most definitely tells it like it is. This blogger does not beat around the bush and her honesty and frank writing is refreshing and inspiring. Nominated as a finalist in the MAD Blog Awards, it’s easy to see why. I give you the prolific Jane of Northern Mummy with Southern Children.
This week Jane is talking about Baby Blues and Blogging (we love the message in this one!), Beautiful Things and how her ears are bleeding. Life is rough with three children, two of whom are twins! I may need to lie down in a darkened room just thinking about it!
I particularly enjoy how Jane has started an entirely new classification of working mum- BOTTOM. I’m sure that this acronym will catch on like wildfire. Maybe copywriting the term is a good idea Jane? Kerching!
Please give Northern Mummy with Southern Children a good read when you next have a chance to sit down with your laptop and a cuppa. You’ll find laughter and tears in the posts and a refreshing way of writing that speaks to you through the screen. Jane is also still looking for a CyberMummy sponsor as well so let’s see if we can help a blogger out!
Now, for our 10 must-reads, I’m going to highlight some of the Twitter members who contributed such brilliant ideas to our #savvyfetes Twitter party last month. They are so creative and full of energy that you’ll surely want to add them to your follow list on Twitter.

I definitely think Jane's BOTTOM is going to catch on. Especially now that it is out here in the Brit Mums community - imagine the press could pick it up as a new 'buzz word' and it will be all traced back to Northern Mummy!

Thanks too for including me in your twitter list! The party gave me lots of ideas which we're actually implementing in our school fete next month.

What a fab list of bloggers (as always!) as well as big cheer to Northern Mum. She is FAB! Love her blog and love how she writes... Goof luck for the finals Jane! And uhm.. you embarrass me with the Nr One. I tell it is a fluke.. and you will be seeing me milling about as usual with the others next month, as I drop back down the ranks. I am sure! Thank you though for the shout out! Maggy
