Blog Giveaways Round-Up: Something for the kids

Blog Giveaways Round-Up: Something for the kids

GiveawaysWhoop whoop – another month has gone by and we are ready to help you find all those wonderful giveaways that are nestling nicely within the pages of the internet this month, just waiting to be entered, and hopefully bring you something extra special this month.

Because I like to be different, I am looking at the giveaways that are “For the Kids” first this month; because I am pretty sure most of the rest of the world is talking about us mums for a change, right? So to buck the Mothers Day trend, we are giving you some of the best for the kids. But what does every Mother really want for Mother’s Day, as well as that time alone; a little something extra special for her kids…

My own site, KiddyCharts, has an uber giveaway from Bizzy Bitz this month; an exclusive giveaway offering a total of £250 worth of these wonderful construction toys both to yourself and your school / pre-school of choice (Ends 14th April). Boo, Roo and Tigger Too also have a great opportunity for schools as well, with a chance to win £50 of Kelloggs vouchers to help those schools that offer breakfast clubs, which can be extremely important to those working parents out there. Hurry for this one though, it closes tonight!

With Easter around the corner, the round-up wouldn’t be complete without a few Easter Eggs for the kids, would it; so how about this amazing giveaway from The Ana Mum Diary from Hotel Chocolat, a rather luxurious Easter Egg; clearly these could be for mum too *don’t tell the kids* (Ends 4th April). Single Slummy Mummy is promoting a competition giving away TEN Easter Eggs on her blog. Plenty to choose from on there this time; perhaps the Flake one, or maybe the Maltesers..decisions, decisions… (Ends, 11th April). If chocolates aren’t your kids favourite, then how about some Swizzels sweeties from Redhead Babyled? Believe it or not, this year marks the 60th Anniversary of Love Hearts sweets; and she is celebrating on her blog which a rather sweet giveaway (Ends, 10th April).

After all those chocs and Love Hearts, you might need to get out and about, so head on over to Yellow Days where Cat has an amazing family ticket to the Wychwood Festival 2014 (2 adults, 2 under 10s with camping pass) to giveaway (Ends, 31st March). These are worth £125 so if you win this, you have bagged yourself a wonderful deal.

Kids like seeing things get blown up, don’t they. So entering Blue Bear Wood‘s giveaway will allow them a wonderful day out and a massive treat as well; it is for a family ticket to The Energy Show Tour. This is a theatrical experience or Science, performed by two science students and sponsored by The Science Museum. The show is taking its special brand of explosions around the country, and you could be putting your fingers in your ears too 😀 (Ends, 7th April).

Our final day out suggestion, is for Go Ape, which my kids think is brilliant, and which my my legs turn to jelly! Rock n’ Roller Baby has a £60 voucher for the all swinging and dangling resort to giveaway on her blog. So enter if you are brave enough, and the kids twist your arm… (Ends, 4th April)

If you are out, you need some cool wheels, don’t you. So head on over to Berice Baby for their pushchair giveaway from Babyzen, and your little one will be the coolest spectator at Go Ape!

Doing something for our children as mums isn’t all about giving them toys, chocolates and days out though. Emma from Emma and Three has a wonderful giveaway on her blog for some luxurious star shaped blankets from Tuppence and Crumble. Though not designed for kids in Spica, they are perfect for keeping little ones in the casts warm and cosy; and Emma is hoping that the giveaway raises awareness on Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH). Pop over to the blog, and enter; and most importantly read all about DDH and her daughter Erins’ journey (Ends, 15th April)

We can’t forget the smallest kids out there can we? So Choopie are giving away some cool buggy accessories on KiddyCharts along with a £50 Babies R’ Us Gift Card as well. You will definitely be able to bring a smile to your little one’s face with this (Ends, 4th April). However, if this doesn’t work, then what about a wonderful Peekaboo Baby Company hamper from Our Baby Blog; though this one ends today as well, so get a wiggle on!

Little fingers love WOW Toys; so In the Playroom has all the latest Mini WOW Toys to giveaway on her blog; from Ace the Race Car to JoJo the Ambulance – all six of them could be in your boy or girls’ hands if you are lucky enough to win (Ends, 15th April)

Continuing in the toy theme, but for something a little different; how about you design a doll to win a doll? This is a lovely idea on the Mama Geek website, where you are given a lovely colouring sheet to colour in with a chance to win a BigJigs doll. Oddly there is only a girl doll to colour in despite the range including a boy one, as Live Otherwise has pointed out in the comments, but it still looks like a lot of fun for the kids (Ends, 7th April).

For all my bravado, I can’t forget us Mums totally, so how about these lovely giveaways to enter and maybe give yourself a bit of a treat too?:

What are you waiting for, get winning!

Don’t forget to add your giveaways to the Britmums Giveaways and Competitions group, the Superlucky and Yellow Days linkies or the KiddyCharts giveways listing as well, will you?

About Helen Neale

Helen is the editor of the working parents round up, a freelance writer and owner of personalised children's chart business, KiddyCharts. She was a business analyst, and then a tweed-skirted school librarian as she tried to find work that fitted in with the demands of motherhood. Mummy's Little Stars is where you will find her sometimes funny musings about life as a working parent, and mum to some over exuberant small people. She has only been blogging since January 2012, so go gentle with her; she might break. You can find Helen on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn; where she probably hangs out a bit too much.
