Blog Giveaways Round-Up: Sunshine and Summer

It is summer *checks weather*

At least, I have a feeling that finally we may have got some sunshine that won’t just pack its bags and pee off again after a few days…

With this in mind, I am hoping to bring you some nice summer-y giveaways for you…

To start us off, we have a £120 designer sunglasses prize up for grabs on Unstitched D (04/07), so if we do see the sun again, at least we’ll have those all important sunglasses to protect our eyes. Cakes Photos Life (01/07) has a wonderful Foodies Festival ticket giveaway on her blog, so you can get sorted for the summer with an event that might even help you learn some amazing new recipes. Perhaps we will be lucky enough to be able to try out some of them in the garden with the barbecue. The event sounds wonderful with a Childrens Cookery Theatre and Street Food Avenue & World Food Pagodas just some of the attractions there. Tickets are usually worth £60 so definitely worth having a flutter if you like your food.

If food isn’t your thing, perhaps Peppa Pig is instead? ChelseaMamma is giving away a family ticket to Paultons Park, which is, of course, also home to Peppa Pig World. Sunshine does mean that it might be time to get out and experience some of those theme parks *don’t all groan*

Family Four Fun (07/07) has a great opportunity on her blog for you to win a pass for one of the more well known UK them parks, with 5 Thorpe Park Annual Passes to give away. If theme parks aren’t your thing, and you would rather spend your day out somewhere a little bit different, then Bewilderwood might be a good alternative? While you are at your festivals, you might fancy a little picnic…Me and my Shadow (o2/07) is offering a Seranata Cheese and Wine hamper on her blog, so something for everyone to make those picnics fun for all the family.

If your kids are like me, then summer means more time to take photos, and perhaps you can give them the opportunity to get creative with The Gingerbread House (02/07) this month. She is giving away a Leapfrop Creativity Camera to help get their imaginative juices flowing.
