My twins will be celebrating their 6th birthday midweek next week, they are extremely excited about it and have been writing ‘Who to invite?’ lists since last October so they are extremely organised.
They have been throwing the odd hint of gifts into conversation (basically anything from the Disney Frozen range) and which cake they’d prefer (funnily enough a Frozen themed one) and then they scamper off to sing ‘Let it go’ for the umpteenth time in the back garden to the joy of the entire neighbourhood.
I, on the other hand, have 3 parties to organise. A bowling party for 14 x Frozen mad 6 year olds including a (Frozen) cake, (Frozen party bags) and not to forget the candles AND a lighter.
A family BBQ for 18 at home for husband’s side of the family and another the following weekend for my side of the family (21 guests and growing) you can see why I choose to separate them can’t you? All with cake, balloons and a classic French ratatouille.
My head is so packed with details I think I’m going to explode and it hasn’t stopped thumping painfully all week but maybe that’s side effects of the hayfever drugs? I’m too tired to work it out.
Anyway, luckily for me on the horizon I have Camp Bestival to look forward to when mummy will well and truly, ‘Let it go!’
Please dear reader, keep me in your prayers that I make it through the next 10 days without dropping any balls.
I hope life is calmer for you and if you’d like to share your #MBPW please leave it in the Linky below. Have yourselves a wonderful weekend and fingers crossed for good weather so at least everyone is in the garden and not inspecting my dusty shelves 🙂

Hi busy lady! You will juggle those balls like a pro throughout the 10 days... you have permission to enjoy a very large glass of vino once it is all over!! See you at Camp Bestival! (Where I will join you in a glass of something nice!!) x

Good luck for organising 3 parties! It is my little man's 6th birthday as well at the end of the month, but this year, we are making life a bit easier for ourselves by having the party in a soft play area. We are having a Frozen party for one of our girl's 4th birthday in September, so please share your party ideas, party bags etc.! Mel

Oh my word you're just too busy! I'm hosting a Year 6 leavers party at our house for my son's whole class next week and that's more than enough for me. I hope everything goes well for you x

Waaaaah Marianne!! Good luck over the next ten days in keeping all those balls in the air! Although I think you're allowed to drop a few when there's that many ;)
