The sun’s out and we’re in for a fabulous weekend, now that is something to smile about right because our British weather isn’t always so kind for example,
I had to go into London one day this week. I left home and the sun was shining, I wore flat shoes and I didn’t take an umbrella as there wasn’t a cloud in the sky.
I caught the Highspeed into London – a twenty minute journey, I stepped on to the Tube for two stops, approximately a 10 minute span from Highspeed to Tube exit where I was met with torrential rain!
I spent £5 on a cheap and nasty umbrella from a stand set up by the exit waiting for me and started to work out my directions when it started to hail on me!
I arrived at my destination looking like a wet rat squelching in my flatties.
Thanks Britain for that!
What’s planned for the weekend? Husband left an order for burgers and bangers before leaving for work so I’m guessing he’s planning on a BBQ this weekend, a bit of tidying up the garden and Pimms o’clock.
Bring it on!
As for My Best Post of The Week, well I’m going for a new kind of post I tried out, a chit chat post where I share my thoughts on blogging, Folgaria and the BiBs which incidentally are closed as of midnight, very best of luck to everyone on the shortlists whilst we wait to hear who made it to the finalists

I'm SO with you on the weird weather this week! I too was in London (shivering) that day and couldn't believe there was HAIL bouncing off my bonnet! My windscreen wipers were on full and struggling to cope. I think they were as much in shock as we were! x

Said all of that I do love a bit of hail as we don't get to see it that often, I just wish I'd been prepared for it!
