Arts & Crafts Round-up : Halloween crafts

The summer holidays have been and gone, the weather is starting to turn and the days are getting shorter. That can mean only one thing for my crafty brain … we’re heading towards Halloween Crafts time (cue, thunder, lightning and a crazy cackle!).

I love Halloween and all the craftiness that comes with it. Whether it’s small scale pumpkin carving or a complete interiors makeover there’s plenty of Halloween craftiness to have fun with. Here’s some inspiration from our Britmums bloggers.

To start us off Red Ted Art has a fabulous up cycled tin can halloween craft that turns into a spooky game.

I love the ideas! I do Halloween stations as well but will be adding a few of yours. One that my students ask for is a Haunted House – I set mats up on their end to make a tunnel and drape a parachute over top. I tie toy bats to a long post and set that on the mats too so it looks like the bats are hanging from the ceiling inside. I also decorate inside with a cauldron, spiders, a fake moving hand, and any other fun Halloween decorations I have around. Students go through the house one at a time on scooters. K-2 love it!
