At our #HolidayGems Twitter party on January 7, we shared our dream holidays in Europe and the world beyond for fun and a chance to win prizes. We heard about the secret gems you’d recommend to friends as well as your wish-list spots!

Returning to Conil de la Frontera Spain. Amazing family-friendly beaches, sea, sand, sun and swimming = all you need. @hmdsister

I have been to Cyprus and Crete. Both are beautiful and the ruins in Cyprus are stunning. @YorkshireMumof2
Zante the Greek island is absolutely beautiful. We went turtle-watching. Highly recommend. @JanBagnall
DD and I adored Port Aventura in Spain, a quieter but brilliant theme park. Plenty of coasters but stuff for smaller kids too. @tattooed_mummy
My favourite is Disneyland Paris, been 5 times, me and the kids love it, great fun, food and always smiling. @sidshane
Would defo recommend Balearics for value and quick journey plus lots to do there. @wallymummy

I live in Ireland and you could easily fill 3 weeks of things to see and do. @outmumbered
