Goodness me can you guys believe it’s May already?! It’s the start of another month which means time for another Instagram round-up. I’ve been keeping my eye out for posts about Instagram and picking up a few tips that will hopefully help and inspire you, so let’s get started.
If you find your Instagram account is a slow grower in terms of following and engagement then this post with ‘The seven rules of Instagram’ over on Huffington Post Tech might come in handy. I particularly like the tip about engaging with followers, I always recommend this to others when I am asked how I grow my Instagram, it’s so important to like and comment on other accounts. Share the love people!
A few more Instagram rules to live by can be found in this interesting article ‘The real secret to winning the Instagram lottery’ over on Fstoppers. This site is written by a community of photographers who know what they are talking about. Can you get ‘on the list’?
I found some really great tips over on Butterfly Crafts this week, in particular, the reminder that it’s easy to swap the clickable link in your bio depending on what you’re posting and that we should all utilise this. Here’s ‘Making the most of Instagram-Six top tips’
I’ve shared rules that could apply to us adult users of Instagram but what about children and Instagram, do rules apply there too? Is it one rule for adults and another for our kids and how do we put rules into practice without looking hypocritical? I really enjoyed a post I read on A Mum Track Mind where Fi questions ‘Instagram for Children’
Lastly is one of my fav Instagrammers Jess from Mummy of Boy Girl Twins sharing her ‘Obsession with Instagram’ and advice for improving your feed. I love that Jess snaps pics on the go of what she likes so that she can come back to them another time, I need to do this more!
