Style Round-up: Autumn’s palette

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: autumn is my favourite time of year for fashion! I love nothing more than layering up in gorgeous knitwear, cute dresses, chunky boots and opaque tights and going for a stroll with a thermos of hot coffee to keep me warm. Morgana from coffee work sleep repeat is a girl after my own heart in these gorgeous Joanie Girl pieces – in fact, I have that exact same t-shirt on order!

Katie from Mummy in a Tutu reckons that corduroy is going to be big this season, and I think she’s right as I’ve been spotting it everywhere. I had some sweet little needlecord bloomers made for my baby girl and they are utterly adorable. Keep an eye on my Instagram if you want to see her in all her cordy cuteness!

As always there’s plenty of fashion inspo out there for the little ones in our lives: Hayley from Devon Mama has some great ideas for your toddler’s winter wardrobe, Mary from Over 40 and a Mum to One and her son are standing out in bright colourful prints, and little Busby is showing off the coolest Star Wars themed shoes EVER over on Make, Do & Push!

An easy way to refresh your look for autumn is with a new coat and Kerri-Ann from Life as Our Little Family has lots of inspiration. I am totally lusting after her pink teddy coat, isn’t it just gorgeous! Alex from Lamb & Bear has got a new jacket too, perfect for these chilly school runs. I’m still loving my navy pea coat that I have had for years, but my boys have got some new outerwear to keep them snug.
