It’s now September which means two things. Back to School and the start of the run up to Christmas. While out shopping for new boots with my toddler, amongst the back to school things were the Christmas cards, wrapping paper and Christmas puddings. It’s still 4 months away so no need to panic yet!
I’m sure most of your children are Back to School by now. I bet you are glad the uniform and shoe shopping has ended, I’ve this to come in a couple of years! So for this months Pinterest round-up we are heading Back to School amongst the uniform, snacks, stationery and school life.
If you pop over to see Jemma’s post and pin from Thimble and Twig she has a list of tips on making the whole Back to School Uniform shopping process simpler. Her pin shows us lots of uniform photos which will help Pinterest to place it in the correct feed for uniform searches. I’ve discovered that Pinterest “reads or scans” your pin images as well as reading the text that comes with it.
Claire over at The Ladybirds Adventures reviews a pair of fun school shoes that your child can personalise. Her pin is fun and colourful showing off the Back to School shoes. The font used is bright and eye-catching, just like Claire’s blog style.
You can’t forget the name labels! Lyndsay over at My Family of Roses shares with us her pin on Back to School labelling. Lyndsay’s pin shows the labels ironed on the clothing and her text stating how easy they were to apply. Helpful for Pinterest searches.
Lisa’s pin over at Mumma Scribbles caught my eye. It sells her blog post on what you need to know when your baby goes to school. It’s a total warts and all blog post. Lisa’s pin, with its big bold lettering leads you to believe this.
Helen from Treasure Every Moment shares with us her emotions of her first child starting school. I can totally relate to this as I’m sure it will be how I feel when my daughter starts school in a couple of years. Helen’s pin is very soft and gentle in design with the addition of a few flowers alongside the image of her little girl’s school shoes.
If you are like me then you will need a checklist of some sort to help you remember all the Back to School things your children need. I have an essential stationery Back to School list. Clare over at Emmy’s Mummy has a fantastic checklist you can save also. Her’s covers all the Back to School areas. The pin Clare has for the post is bright and colourful with all the school elements like pencils. Kelly has a really cool starting school checklist from School Runs and Shopping Trolleys. Her accompanying pin is very Pinterest worthy. It’s catchy, fun and makes you want to click it!
