If I had to pick just one shop that I could only ever shop in for non-perishable goods, it would have to be TKMaxx.
The variety of the products is amazing – and I love the fact that you can go in there from one week to the next and they’ve always got something new to look at.
So it seems fitting to kick off this month’s Shopping Hauls round-up with a TKMaxx video haul!
As well as some great footwear and a backpack, Carol from Family Makes managed to snap up a Magnetic Sand Timer for the bargain price of £4.99, some Bluetooth headphones and earbuds for £12.99 and some peg clip rainbow lights for £6.99.
They always have some really unique products. My favourite buy of Cal’s though were some retro milk bottles in a wooden box for £5.99. They’d look perfect on a kitchen windowsill or sideboard.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been trying to lose a few pounds to be able to fit into some of my old summer clothes – some of which I had forgotten I owned! It’s always a nice surprise when I rediscover them – except when I realise most of them don’t fit!
However, Traci at Burnt Apple wrote a post about How To Lose 10 Pounds In 10 Days and picked up a high protein food haul to help her on her way.
If like me you still need to drop a few pounds (or stone in my case!), then a high protein food diet could be the way to go for the short term.
And with the summer season comes the wedding season! If you’ve got a wedding coming up, it might be worth checking out Leah’s Joanie Clothing Haul & Try-On video.
Leah, from Home Family Life, picked up a selection of gorgeous dresses for an upcoming wedding, asking viewers for their views on what she should wear.
I personally think she looks stunning in all of them – and they offer great inspiration on what looks good at formal occasions this summer.
The only way is Primani
And with summer comes the holidays! Katie-Lauren needed some new clothes for her city break holiday, so she set herself a budget of £50 and headed to Primark to see how much she could get.
In her blog post she managed to pick up plenty of t-shirts and vest tops, along with a denim jacket and some jewellery.
Again, Primark seems like one of those places that you can go in from week to week and always spot something new.
Meanwhile, 6 Little Lambs went shopping for summer and picked up a huge kids’ haul from Primark.
Some of her great purchases included a cap for £3, a couple of pairs of shorts for £7, flip flops for just 90 pence, swimming shorts for £3, as well as a range of t-shirts, swimming towels, dresses and footwear.
Her kids are certainly all kitted out for the summer holidays!
Whatever you get up this summer, I hope you enjoy it! And let’s hope for some nice sunny days so that we can hit the High Street a bit more!
