There’s a new Mumboss in town!

The launch party at the Royal Garden Hotel

The back room in the Park Terrace restaurant of The Royal Garden Hotel is buzzing with colour and sound. Lively women in summer dresses and floral tops are nibbling sandwiches, taking pictures and chatting animatedly. Next to the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Kensington Park is Vicki Psarias, the human whirlwind who has created the Honest Mum site, wearing her signature red. Today her kinetic energy is high — it’s the launch of her new book Mumboss.

Already gaining accolades from the likes of Marie Claire magazine and influential online personalities, it’s a guide to achieving your dreams as well as managing life with work and children.

Here at BritMums we’re delighted to celebrate the launch of Vicki’s book. We can honestly say we knew her when, back when she was just embarking on her blogging journey. She’s worked hard and risen to become one of the most recognisable faces of online female influencers. We did a Facebook Live with Vicki from the event.

Biggest challenges are getting opportunities and bringing income for my family, sometimes feels impossible! My latest achievement is organising a Mental Health Mates Walk in my local area yesterday after suffering from PND.

Biggest challenge is juggling the house as well as work and time with the kids. Housework never seems to be fully done.

Having a two year old and a newborn is tiring. I struggle getting the housework done, so always make lots of plans of when to fit everything in. I blog when they have both gone to bed. Well done to Vicki on the publication of her book. She was one of the first bloggers I started following on my own blog journey. x

Facing my biggest challenge at the moment as I recently became a single mum of four. Which means the blog will continue to be a slowly, slowly development. But as long as I keep a positive mindset I’m pretty sure I’ll conquer anything life throws at me. I’d love to read Vicki’s new book as she’s such an inspiration to all women.

I think unexpected things are a big challenge – keeping things calm when struggling with job loss, relocation, loss and mental or physical health issues. For me becoming a home educator put another thing into the already busy mix. My latest success is really about finally finding happiness and having confidence in my dreams and largely down to connecting with the blogging community including BritMums and Vicki. What is superb is how this book will help others move forwards positively inspired by Vicki’s journey
