I popped off to Dunelm recently to do a bit of homeware shopping, and although I didn’t pick up many things, I really enjoyed checking out the new collections including the fabulous rose gold that is bang on trend at the moment.
And that’s what is great at this time of the year – new ranges, new collections and new trends.
I made a video of most of the new things in store right now – have a watch and let me know what catches your eye!
Speaking of homeware hauls, Kerry from Kerry, Life and Loves blogged about her first homeware haul this month.
Kerry showcased her favourite homeware products, sharing their details and where you can buy them. I particularly loved a beautiful Laura Ashley silver and mirror tray she picked up, which she uses to house her favourite perfumes in her bedroom – very classy.
Another thing that Kerry mentions is her love for candles – yay….a girl after my own heart! And Kerry has got the right idea looking for the equivalent of expensive candles and a fraction of the price – just the sort of thing I’d do too.
And Katy Stevens popped along to another one of my favourite shops – Home Bargains to pick up, well…plenty of bargains!
From homeware to clothes…
Meanwhile, after checking out an NCT sale, Helena from The Queen Of Collage penned a post on insider tips, which ranged from smart shopping to volunteering.
And Lyndsey from Me, Him, The Dog and A Baby went on a summer clothes shopping spree for her toddler at George.
Her super buys included a range of tees, shorts and summer items – with great prices to match. For example, she bagged two playsuits for just £7. I need to get myself down to George and pronto!
Grab a bargain!
Katy Stevens from Katy Kicker popped along to another one of my favourite shops – Home Bargains to pick up a selection of perishable and non-perishable goods including Bar Keepers Friend (a stain remover) for the amazing price of £1.49 – well done Katy!
Meanwhile, Leah from Home Family Life also managed to pick up a fab carpet cleaning product in her spring Poundland Haul – for just £1 – a whole £4 cheaper than one of the leading brands!
Other products in her basket included two greetings card, some mini storage baskets, a vintage style glass jar and faux flowers – all for the grand price of £1 each.
Her son is soooo cute in her video – and very well behaved! I personally love it when us mamas include our kids in the videos – this is real life after all!
Food glorious food!
Leah also made another video on an ASDA Food Shopping Haul and Meal Plan.
Her basket including a whole range of products – from butter chicken, pineapple, baked beans and sultanas to carrots, suede, yoghurt and grapes!
Watching it gave me a few meal ideas – such as overnight oats (a Slimming World recipe), but it also made me hungry.
Donetta from David and Donetta also went food shopping – at Aldi…and spent over £100! Mind you, it was a huge shop and if you watch the video, you’ll get some fab meal plan ideas.
Forget the recipe cards in the supermarkets – vloggers are the real deal when it comes to planning meals and staying on top of the food shopping! They offered ideas for seven lunches and seven dinners.
