Also I will share with you a few Pinterest tips on how to grow your traffic that I have learnt from a business mastermind group that I’m in.
Growing Your Pinterest Traffic
There has always been lots of ideas around the optimum pin size to give you the best results. I’ve learnt that the optimal size is 600×900. This is best for both mobile and desktop. Pin at least 70 times a week and not in one batch. Spread it over the week with your own pins as well as others.
I never knew that Pinterest prioritises new pins to the world, so as soon as you create a post with a pinnable image, pin it straight away. Hashtags are relatively new to Pinterest, but as it’s more of a search engine this makes sense. You can use up to 20 broad keyword descriptive hashtags per pin.
I’m always on the lookout for fun preschool activities to do with my toddler, and now with the weather picking up, we want things to do outside. Also activities to do inside when those Spring showers arrive.
Louise from Messy Little Monster has this colourful pin on making Rainbow Spin Art Flowers which looks like it can be done as an outside play activity as well. Daffodils are my favourite Spring flower and Emma from Emma and 3 has a simple but effective pin for her paper daffodils craft on Pinterest. Also check out the lovely Louise’s pin on Spring crafts for toddlers from Little Hearts, Big Love. These are ones we will definitely doing – great for an active 2-year-old!
If you are looking for Spring activities for babies I’m loving Becca’s Spring Sensory Bin ideas from Pears and Chocolate Sauce. Her pin shows us exactly what the activity is about and a good position of the text in the centre.
Older children may appreciate Spring activities like making rain catchers and foraging for food to cook or bake with. Craig from Rambling Dad has this pin that shows his daughter watching the rain catcher that they’ve made. With Sarah over at Craft Invaders making this stunning eye-catching pin showing her Spring Foraging Recipes. Sarah’s pin shows three images of the food she has made making it very appealing to the eye with the text in her blog’s brand colours.
Lastly if you are looking for somewhere to go on holiday this Spring why not head over to Jersey? Island Living 365‘s Emma has this fantastic post and pin on why you should visit Jersey in the Spring. Plus you can check out my Spring fashion post and Spring mood board pin for holiday clothes ideas.
