Reviews Round-up

Well we can’t avoid it any longer. Christmas preparations are in full flow and the blogging world is jam-packed with reviews. If you are still unsure of the must-have toys and gifts for this Christmas, then welcome to our bumper edition of the BritMums Reviews Round-up:

Toys:

Adventures of a Mum has been super impressed with the Thomas Super Station Track. I must admit it does look rather special!

Mixing playtime with Science, Counting to Ten has been testing out the Project Mc2 Experiment Doll, Camryn.

I know that my 6yo is hoping that Santa brings her a Kurio Smartwatch this Christmas so it was really useful to read Jen from My Mummies Pennies’ thoughts.

Home:

There’s not a parent around that doesn’t appreciate the value of a large load washing machine. Counting to Ten tells us how they have got on with the Beko 12kg Washing Machine

For anyone who is preparing a nursery, Refined Prose has been putting Silver Cross Space Saving Furniture to the test

Food:

The Daventurer has been putting Beko’s range of small breakfast appliances to the test. Sounds a good way to start the day to me!

Fashion:

Dancing in Wellies shared her review of her son’s Star Wars shoes – Very stylish, just the packaging alone made me go ‘Ooh!’

Sadly, my days of baby carriers are long gone. I remember how convenient they were for winter walks though. Devon Mama tells us how they got on with the Pao Carrier recently.

Hotels:

I’m a complete sucker for hotel reviews. We spend a lot of time travelling the country with our athlete so are constantlt on the lookout for recommended places to stay. Adventures of a Mum was very lucky to have a romantic weekend in Hampshire recently.

And another couple making the most of a romantic retreat away, Mummy From The Heart and her husband visited Giraffe Lodge in Kent

The Dadventurer also had a great break away at Crieff Hydro in Perthshire

Thanks as always go to everyone who contributed to this month’s Review Round-up. I’ll be back next month with some last minute Christmas ideas. We also have a special seasonal Gift Guide Round-up scheduled for next week so feel free to send me your links.
