Christmas time is truly the best time of year!
I love nothing more than getting into the Christmas spirit through arts and crafts, specifically those that double up as decorations for the home. There is no such thing as less-is-more in our house, the more the merrier is definitely what we go for when decorating our home!
I asked around in the blogger community for the best Christmas activities for toddlers and as always, they came up trumps!
Thimble and Twig has a list of 10 great crafts for little ones.
Potato printing is one of my favourite things to do and these Christmas baubles are so cute from Real Mum Reviews.
These glitter Christmas trees from My Model Mummy are so easy, perfect for very young children.
The Inspiration Edit makes easy ping pong ball snowmen – simple but effective!
Susan K. Mann shows us some easy crafts as well as the most impressive Christmas tree book for older children – I want to make one!
Not all crafts turn out right, do they? Pinterest often makes us feel as though we are doing something wrong. Well, Edinburgh with Kids shows us exactly this here, but the end result is great!
A Baby On Board uses some air-drying clay to make some fab decorations for the tree.
But if you don’t have any clay, Mummy’s Magical Mayhem shows us how to make some gingerbread decorations instead.
Lolly sticks are brilliant, aren’t they? Hodge Podge Days has a couple of quick and easy Christmas tree crafts for little ones.
These thumbprint decorations are such a lovely idea from Thimble and Twig, such a simple way to personalise things.

There are so many fun things to do with little ones over the festive season, I can’t wait to have the girls home to be able to do everything and get in the Christmas spirit.
As well as crafts though, I thought I would share these posts from Mudpie Fridays and Sophie Ella and Me. They both list loads of different things to do through December, from having a picnic in front of the Christmas tree to making reindeer food. Plenty to keep you busy over the coming weeks!
