#BML17 The weekend that was

#BML17 took place at the weekend and what an amazing time we had! New venue, deep dive sessions on the topics that matter to you, great brands and of course the reason why we were all there – you the bloggers!

Personally I had a brilliant time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones, even though I looked like I was channelling Hugh Hefner wearing my kimono and marabou slippers! (I had a wardrobe fail the day before the event and had to buy new shoes – the fluffy slippers were my purchase but changed the look of the whole outfit!)

The venue was massive with spectacular views – look what I captured on Saturday by leaning out of the window!

Anyway, on to more important things, the learning. We had some top notch presentations from experts in their field across the event and listed below are links to any presentations that our speakers have been kind enough to share. Refresh your memory on their expertise or if you couldn’t attend the session, see what went on.

This list will be added to as more presentations come in.

Of course after #BML17 came the #BiBs17! We enjoyed a Thames river cruise onboard City Cruises where 12 amazing bloggers were celebrated. You can read who won here but again – what incredible views. I captured this shot of the London Eye at night when I was disembarking the boat!

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and thanks also to the ladies who made it happen – Jen and Susanna! Great work!

About Nadine Hill

Nadine is a busy mum (β€œIs there any other kind?!”) who writes the award winning family lifestyle blog, JuggleMum and self help blog Love Yourself Slim. Working from home at a portfolio career which also includes being the Editor at BritMums, running a small business and spreading herself all over social media, she has everything under control but still feels like she's hanging on by her Gelish covered fingernails! Self employed for 12 years she's been around the freelancing block a few times, so she created a YouTube playlist called The Businessmum Interviews to have a nosey at how other work-at-home parents are doing it. Watch and see - it's a juggling act for everyone! Immensly grateful to be doing what she loves, Nadine's most important job is 'Mum' to her teen and tween who keep her up to date with Snapchat, Minecraft and how to do 'brows on fleek'.
