Video Round-up: Your favourites

Welcome back to July’s Video Round-Up. Soon to be the summer holidays and some time to relax! I know, I for one, can’t wait. Anyway, the theme I chose for this month’s round-up focused on you picking your favourite vlog old or new and letting me know why. And what a selection I received. It was an absolute pleasure to watch all the videos sent and, as always, so hard to choose just a few to showcase. So, with no further ado, I present your most favourite videos!

First up is from One Lucky Mum. It is very hard to watch this without feeling emotional but Leigh’s account of her son’s birth and journey is just beautiful to watch. Rory is just gorgeous, his giggle just infectious and Leigh and you are an incredible mum!

Next up is a wonderful act of kindness from AmyBeingMum and is something we should all be doing more of and encouraging our children to do to. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Amy. The world really does need more kindness and you are teaching your daughter a wonderful thing.

This video from Sammy Bird is one of the most heartwarming videos I’ve ever watched. It documents her husband’s return home from being deployed and seeing her son and dogs. A real must watch for sure, though very emotional!

Nadine from JuggleMum sent in a wonderful behind the scene video of making a delicious tart with all the signs of a true Instagrammer and blogger. This really made me smile as we are all a little bit guilty about getting the perfect shot, even if we do get our hair caught in the chandeliers, Nadine!

This next video had me laughing so much as Jo from Jo’s Kitchen films making smartie cookies with her two boys. This had me giggling lots. Those dinosaur roars were some of the best I’ve ever heard! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Oh, and the cookies looked amazing!

And, lastly, something to leave you feeling all warm and glowy is this wonderful birth video from Sarah at This Mama Life. Birth videos really do have that effect, don’t they? Sarah planned to record this as she thought her husband wouldn’t be deployed for the birth but thankfully he made it back. Still a wonderful memory to have.

Thank you, everyone, who sent in their videos for consideration. It was an absolute joy to watch them all. If you have an idea for next month’s theme, please let me know. In the meantime, have a great summer and I’ll be back next month!

About Helen Sandle

Hi, I’m Helen and mum to two teenage daughters and one teenage son and am married to a very handsome man! I blog at mainly about the musings of raising three teens which, as I’m sure you can imagine, comes with plenty of stories! I have also started vlogging about teens issues and all these vlogs are either with my children themselves chatting about various relevant issues to being a teen or with the fabulous Sarah and Jayne who are talking therapists who specialise in teens so we have lots of fun talking about very real parenting teen issues!
