We have another bumper edition, so many people are getting out and about and exploring, theatre has been extremely popular throughout March, for all ages! Plutonium Sox took the little ones to enjoy Ben and Holly at Malvern Theatre, Viggo and I went to see it at the Marina Theatre a great show for the younger children. A strong Coffee to Go went to see Babe The Sheep Pig, we have a family ticket for this on Easter Sunday, so the children are a little excited!
An Organised Mess took the Children to see Fantastic Mr Fox , this is on our list for later in the year, after reading the review, I can’t wait! Fashion Mommy gives her opinions on Billy Elliot and Shirley Valentine. Our theatre viewing this month included Forever Jackson a very entertaining show, with an amazing tribute to the King of Pop, Extremism a very thought provoking play, performed by the stars of tomorrow and my favourite of the month Mamma Mia which was amazing, and I would recommend that EVERYONE goes to see it, if it is coming to a theatre near you!
An Organised Mess has been very busy at the theatre, with a variety of performances, including Killology, Seanmhair, Sinners Club and Fear, check them all out and if there are any that really appeal, check if they will be visiting near you.
But Arts & Culture is so much more than just the theatre, we have a huge amount of bloggers that write amazing accounts of museums and castles, and this month is no exception. The Staycationer had a Sunny Day at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum,
Are We Nearly There Yet had an amazing holiday to Scotland, you can read all about the places they visited including The National Museum of Scotland, A Visit to Merida’s Home, A private tour of Glamis Castle and Verdant Works Dundee.
If you are looking for something to do with the children, during the holidays, check out Thimble and Twigs visit to the Tate Modern, or Our Bucket List Lives day out at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre or York Castle Museum, or Chelsea Mammas Visit to Ripleys Believe it Or Not, Cardiff Mummy Says gives her verdict on Lambing at Llwyn yr Eos, My Boys Club visited Durham Cathedral, Nest and Dressed gives their account of 24 hours in New Lanark, the Gingerbread House had a great time at The Art of The Brick or if you are feeling a little more adventurous, check out Five Little Stars Paris Walking Tour with a Toddler
If you have an Arts & Culture post that you would like included next month, don’t forget to tweet me at @bigfamilies or send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a great April and a Happy Easter.
