Arts & Culture Round-up: Spring is in the air

Welcome to the March edition, the start of spring and warmer weather (hopefully), although I did have ice on my windscreen this morning and some reports of snow! That will not stop us venturing out and exploring all the amazing places our wonderful country has to offer.

Lots of parents have been busy making costumes for their children to celebrate World Book Day, if you are looking for places to go on this theme , why not check out Wandermum’s 10 Places to visit for World Book Day or North East Family Fun’s visit to Seven Stories Newcastle.

There have been lots of visits during February to the theatre, including a little blogger meet up to watch the Wedding Singer, read reviews from Cardiff Mummy Says, Kelly Allen Writer, First Time Valley Mam and All About a Mini Norris. Fashion Mommy has been to see Sister Act, The Red Shoes and Wonderland. Rambling Through Parenthood went to see The Very Hungry Caterpillar and My Travel Monkey went to see Peppa Pig Big Splash.

The long awaited release of Lego Batman has seen a flurry of excitement and reviews! Check Out The Gingerbread House, Blog By Baby, Mum Friendly and Me The Man and The Kids for their thoughts on the movie.

There have been some museum visits and National Trust trips too, Museum Mum gives us her 14 top tips for visiting Westminster Abbey with young children., whilst Fashion and Frappes gives us 5 exhibitions we must see before they close.

My Travel Monkey gives their verdict on Bodium Castle, whilst Plutonium Sox tells us all about Warwick Castle, Mini Travellers tell us 8 reasons why you should visit Speke Hall with Kids, Museum Mum went to the Fire Fire!
