Mexican burgers: Mixing up the menu with Birds Eye

Our #MixUpYourMenu Twitter party on Tuesday is the place to share your tips, tricks and tasty family meals.

I used the opportunity to turn a burger into a Mexican burger. Check out the recipe below.

Mexican Burgers
Serves 4
We love Mexican food at our house. A little salsa, avocado and sour cream make an ordinary burger into a fiesta!

  1. Birds Eye 4 Premium Beef Quarter Pounders
  2. 4 Hamburger buns
  3. Lettuce
  4. Cheddar cheese, grated
  5. Mild Salsa
  6. 1 Avocado, sliced
  7. Sour Cream
  1. Prepare burgers as directed on package
  2. Place cooked burger on bun
  3. Add a dollop of sour cream
  4. Add a spoonful of salsa
  5. Place two slices of avocado
  6. A handful of grated cheddar cheese
  7. Add lettuce leaf
  8. Top with bun and add a flag to be festive!
  9. Enjoy!
