Due to popular demand this month’s topic is photography tips. Let’s face it we can all spend hours writing the best post possible or writing a review but then it comes to adding photos and you want then to capture the reader, be clear and clutter free but how do we do that?
Of course you could spend an absolute fortune on top of the range cameras, tripods, lighting and lenses but you actually don’t have to. Many really good photos can be taken on a smart phone, just take a look at this guest post by Chez Spud over on Red Ted Art which shows you how to take great shots without a big girls camera and there is also a follow up post. There are some great tips and I personally used wallpaper or wrapping paper for some of my product shots.
Amanda has a great step-by-step guide on How to make a homemade light box, this is great for when there is no natural light in your house, wintery dreary days or those times like me you are blogging at midnight and have forgotten to take a product shot.
For those of you who do have a big camera Kerry (Oh So Amelia) shares with us her photography set up which is certainly worth a read as her shots are always so beautiful and Cass talks about her favourite photography essentials from cameras to lenses, apps to editing and the lovely Elaine has just upgraded and shows us her new photography set up.
Aby shares her top tips for improving your blog photography – one I need to desperately read myself! and Kate (Family Fever) recently shared her photography tips over on my site.
Lastly for this month I will leave you with a collaboration of top photography tips from bloggers who take awesome photos all the time making their posts look simply beautiful.
Remember you can email me – clarenich@googlemailmail.com, tweet me or leave a comment below if you have a topic you would like to see covered in next months post or have a post you would like to send over to me for another round-up.
About Clare Nicholas
Clare is a former NNEB trained Nanny and former Nanny/Babysitting Agency owner, she has now slowed down a little to spend as much time with her own family as possible, a WAHM with two whirlwinds Emmy & Harry. When they aren't climbing the walls and trashing the house they like to spend as much time outdoors as possible filling their time with adventure, dog walks, days out and always finding the biggest and muddiest of puddles - when exhaustion finally hits the kids Clare shares those adventures over on her blog.

Hi Clare, I take all my pictures on my blog using my iPhone but I would like to invest in a dslr at some point! These posts were shot using my iPhone 6 [http://www.whiitelist.com/2016/06/10-ways-to-introduce-your-pet-to-your.html?m=1] and [http://www.whiitelist.com/2016/06/weaning-5-reasons-to-love-ellas-kitchen.html?m=1] and [http://www.whiitelist.com/2016/06/eames-3-minimalist-nursing-chairs.html?m=1] and this beauty one [http://www.whiitelist.com/2016/06/bareminerals-5-natural-skincare-must.html?m=1] I really couldn't decide which one to pick! Ha!
