New term, new education round-up

education blog posts sliderHere we are – September already, a new term and a new start for lots of little people moving on to “Big School”. Among the parents waving their babies off this term are Bumbles of Rice, but offering some sobering advice is Mum of 3 world, who has traveled that path 3 times before. Smiling like sunshine has been making her little darlings practise early nights to get them back into the school routine, wish I thought of that!

There’s even a mum going back to school this term too – My Moon Shot has started her teacher training, so the little ones aren’t the only new kids in the classroom. Good luck one and all!

One of the decisions we have to make for our children at school is the eternal lunch box or school dinner option – well if our school dinners were anything like those for the Asturian Diary and her family, I doubt there would be many tupperware boxes being filled in this house!

So happy September everyone! I hope everyone settles in with new teachers and that expensive school uniform isn’t lost to the depths of the lost property box, I look forward to reading about your education adventures in the coming month.

Next month I’d like to try something a little bit different – I’d like to do a round up just focused on those of you who home educate your children, so add your posts to the link up below and pop back next month to join up and read the experiences of those who chooses a totally different style of teaching like Moving beyond the label does

See you all next month!
