Parragon Books launches ‘Book Buddies’ Review Club at BritMums Live

parragon_stand_britmumslive#BritMumsLive. It was this very twitter hashtag that caught our attention back in 2012. Hundreds of parent bloggers were tweeting about ‘BritMums Live’: from the inspiring speakers, to predictions for the infamous BiBs Awards, to the numerous new friendships being forged. The excitement around the event was evident. This was an event at which Parragon Books had to be!

With over 5,000 members, and a cumulative reach of 40 million monthly page views, the powerful social influence of the BritMums network is undeniable. Having signed up to exhibit on a stand in ‘The Hub’ at BritMums Live 2013, we thought carefully about how to make the most out of this fantastic opportunity to personally connect with bloggers. Furthermore, we were keen to treat this as an opportunity to build the foundations for new working relationships. We didn’t want to just ‘exhibit’, we wanted to engage.

parragonWe came up with ‘Parragon Book Buddies’, a blogger book review club. The enormous pile of completed sign-up sheets at the end of the event spoke volumes on the success of the Book Buddies launch, and we have so far signed up over 250 BritMums bloggers to the Book Buddies club!

Thank you BritMums for hosting yet another fantastic event, and for enabling us to forge some invaluable relationships with leading UK parent blogs. We can’t wait to read the subsequent reviews of our books! For more information about Parragon, visit: www.parragon.com. Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/parragonbooks.
