My Best Post of The Week << add yours

MBPWSun, sun, sun and a bank holiday weekend, what could be better than that? Our BBQ is being dragged out of the garage and cleaned of cobwebs ready for action and I’m looking forward to a fab relaxing weekend.

Pass the Pimms dah-ling.

Travel is a another favourite area of mine and we have a super dooper round-up issue coming to you on Monday so do keep an eye out for it. One thing that makes a good travel blogger stick out in my opinion is the photographs, if they’re good the blogger transports you there in a flash, by the time you reach the end of the post you’re already thinking of your next holiday

And taking good photos brings me perfectly onto the last highlight this week, the Photo BiB. Look at these blogs, they are utterly stunning. I hope each time I visit them to pick up an incy weeny bit of what they’re doing to create on my blog. They are brilliant and all presented so well, I am stuck for who to go for in this category, take a look and see for yourself why

And now it’s back to #MBPW I celebrated my birthday this week and chose a short and sweet post with a Stevie Wonder song that takes me back in time. This post shows that sometimes you don’t need 100′s of words but just a short text and image will do just fine. I was happy with it, a little less happy when I picked the twins up from class “67 today? You carry that well!” said their teacher with a huge smile on her face. don’t you just love your little darlings?

Have a great week everyone and see you all soon as we start the countdown for BritMums Live

About Marianne Weekes

BLOGS AT: Mari's World; TWITTER: @maris_world. Mother of four and nana to three, Marianne Weekes has spent half her life in the UK and the other half in Italy. Blogging since Jan 2010, she finds it hard to drag herself away from her laptop. She likes to dabble in the kitchen, mess around with a camera, play at gardening, and she’s an expert in packing suitcases. She’d quite like to be an author translated into 25 languages but what she’s really good at is being a mum, a woman and a good friend.

The competition is TOUGH this year but your place in both categories is utterly deserved, best of luck to you

Aw Mari you don’t look a day over 49 ;)
My best post this week is a rather impromptu video with a bit of swearing in it, which just goes to show that even the most unprofessional video can become a vlog! Everyone should try it!
