Snapshot Round-up: The first edition

Hello and welcome to the first BritMums Snapshot Round-up! I’m really thrilled to have been given the opportunity to share my favourite pictures from the Blogosphere each month and see what you all have to offer.

Firstly I want you to know that you don’t need a posh camera to be featured, I’ll be sharing photos that have made me laugh, think, maybe even cry, along with those which astound me technically. So without further ado, let’s get on with it!

First up we have a beautiful black and white image by Mammasaurus entitled “My Boy.” I was struck by his eyes and the use of monochrome makes them leap out all the more. A stunning portrait.

English Mum brought a huge grin to my face with a photo of her “boys” all looking troublesome, definitely one for a frame if you ask me!

Elsewhere on the web, Molly stunned me by putting her “best foot forward” as part of her 365 project. I’ve followed her closely and watched as her photography has improved and she regularly astounds me with her creativity and technique.

Over at You’re Not From Round Here we had a wonderful city scene that captured everything there is to love about London in one superb shot.

A Party Of Seven has a very interesting photo, another monochrome moment that struck me as I went on my bloggy rounds.

If you’re a lover of ethereal looking photographs then The Boy And Me has just the shot for you this month with a set of beautiful lampposts gradually disappearing into the mist. If you’re doing a Project 365, or even Project 52, you can also link up each week over there.

My love of bike photos came into play when I saw Motherhood Journeys‘ Silent Sunday, I have something of a thing for them and this really appealed to the vintage lover in me too!

For picture postcard beauty you have to see Dorky Mum‘s stunning snowy scene. The contrast it just beautiful and it shows the beauty that can soon be forgotten in the stress of trying to get places in the snow!

And finally, at Mrs TeePot we secretly spied on a matching couple taking a quiet moment to survey the sea.

Thank you so much for featuring my image. I tried to show Milly (the cat) but she more interested in the milk in my cereal!
